12 applicants from Kaliningrad enrolled to the Creative Entrepreneurship School

Creative Entrepreneurship School is a distance learning program run by the Creative Industries Agency (Moscow). The program is addressed to those, who plan to start their own business and who are ready to start implementing their ideas.
During the first enrollment campaign total 129 applications were received, including:
• 8 applications from neighboring countries (Kazakhstan, Belarus, China, Poland);
• 26 from Moscow and the Moscow region;
• 95 applications from 26 regions of Russia (incl. 16 from the Kaliningrad region, 8 from Krasnoyarsk region and 6 from the Republic of Karelia).
According to the decision of the Advisory Board 87 participants from 24 regions of Russia (including 12 from Kaliningrad) and neighboring countries were enrolled. The participants of the distance learning program will get an opportunity to study the following courses: «Project development in creative entrepreneurship», «Cultural markets and contemporary cultural practices», «Business-models of creative entrepreneurship», «Resources for creative projects». The program’s best participants will be invited to take part in a final session in Moscow, which will include master-classes of Russian and foreign entrepreneurs.
Partners of the project: Institute of Humanities of the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk), Agency for Support of Cultural Initiatives «Tranzit» (Kaliningrad), Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Communications of the Perm Region, Centre for Cultural Initiatives of the Republic of Karelia.
The presentation of the School of Creative entrepreneurship in Kaliningrad took place on 8 December 2012 in the framework of the creative industries development project implemented by the Information office of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad (www.norden39.ru) in cooperation with «Tranzit» Agency (www.tranzit-kaliningrad.ru).
